SUNGLASSES
Make sure your sunglasses are clean when you place them in your BIKE transition bag.

RACE BELT
During the bike ride, your race number must be facing backwards.

WATCH
Remember to stop T1 on your watch to start your bike portion as soon as you mount your bike.

HELMET
You're not allowed to touch your bike without your helmet on.

SOCKS
You are not allowed to run in only your socks. If your shoes are pre-clipped to your bike, you can; otherwise, you have to put your shoes on before you run to your bike.

TIMING CHIP
Your timing chip goes on your left ankle. Don’t forget to put it back on if you removed it while changing out of your wetsuit.

SHOES
You’re not allowed to run with your socks to your bike unless your shoes are pre-clipped, and you know how to mount your bike that way. I don’t; I’ll fall flat on my face. Don’t try to do it for the first time on Race Day.
